Job Description:
- Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable HGV 1 or 2 HIAB Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. As a HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of portable buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate HGV 1 or 2 vehicles equipped with HIAB cranes.
- Load and unload goods using the HIAB crane.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 license with 1 year HGV driving experience
- HIAB certification
- Valid Tachograph
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- No more than 3 points on licence.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
