HGV Class 1 Container driver (temp to perm)
An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients based in Walsall has become available and we are currently looking for HGV Class 1 container drivers on a temp to perm basis.
The role will entail and not limited to:
- Driving C+E vehicles
- Delivering containers to clients in and around the midlands/Wales areas
- Vehicle checks prior to taking the vehicle and check sheets to be filled out
- Able to use PDA and Whatsapp to send pictures of loads.
- Communication with the office to inform of any issues or delays.
To be considered for this HGV Class 1 container drivers role you will need:
- Category C+E (held for minimum 2 years)
- 6 Months experience driving C+E vehicles
- Valid Tahco and DQC cards
- Clean driving license (desirable)
- Experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Friendly, professional and dedicated to great customer service
- An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace
Benefits:

- Annual Salary - £40,040
- Working days - Monday to Friday
- Start times between 04:00 – 09:00 (flexibility will be required)
- Guaranteed 55 hours per week
- Immediate starts available
- 13 week temp to perm
