Job Description: HGV 1 Driver
An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious national clients based in Donnington, Telford has become available for an HGV 1 driver.
As an HGV 1 Driver you will be responsible for:
- Driving both artic and rigid heavy goods vehicles with a variety of trailers depending on the load.
- Both internal and external deliveries.
- Handball can be involved.
To be considered for this HGV Driver role you will need:
- C+E Licence - CPC + DIGI Card - ADR (Desirable)
- To be able to provide last 5 years’ worth of work history (referenced)
- To have a clear enhanced DBS processed on your behalf
- Have held your C+E license for at least 2 years, and have at least 6 months experience driving class 1 vehicles
OR
- Newly passed drivers will be considered following successful completion of Pertemps driving academy assessment day.
- This work is ongoing Monday to Friday for the right HGV Driver Candidate.
- Weekly bookings in advance.
- Buddy system in place for new drivers to learn the ropes.
- New well-maintained fleet of vehicles
- Potential Temp to Perm for the right HGV Driver
PAYE HGV Driver Pay Rates are as followed:
- Days - £13.12ph
- Nights - £17.45ph
- Overtime (after 48 hours) - £19.68ph
- Bank Holiday £26.24ph
