Class 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work for our client based in the Minworth area of Birmingham. 1 drop trunking. Working week consists of 40t to 45 hours MAX! Monday to Friday. Ongoing throughout 2024.

The job will involve inter-depot trunking & RDC work, delivery of pallets (NO HANDBALL) The work will be ongoing for the right candidate as there is an-all-year round requirement for temporary driving staff.

HGV Class 1 Driver hours of work:

- Tuesday to Saturday AM Shifts - 03:00/04:00 starts
- Monday to Friday Shifts - 09:00hr starts or 14:00hr starts
- Shift lengths will be 8 hours MAX
- 1-3 drops per day
- 40 to 45 hour working week
- No overtime

HGV Class 1 Driver Rates of Pay:

- £14.50 per hour (PAYE) Monday to Friday
- £18.00 per hour (PAYE) Saturday
- Minimum 8 hours paid

Requirements for the role:

- HGV Class 1 licence held for AT LEAST 2 years
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph
- 2 years experience
