C1/7.5t Driver – Hermiston Gait, Edinburgh
We are looking for reliable and professional C1/7.5t drivers to join our team in Hermiston Gait, Edinburgh. We have two exciting positions available with competitive pay rates and flexible schedules.
Pay Rates
Rate Pre-Parity Post-Parity
Standard: £12.50 - £13.01
Overtime: £18.75 - £19.52
Saturday: £18.75 - £19.52
Sunday: £25.00 - £26.02
Bank Holidays: £25.00 - £26.02
Available Positions x2
1. Full-Time Role
Schedule: Monday – Friday, with alternating Saturdays
Start Time: 08:00 AM
2. Weekend Cover
Schedule: Weekend shifts with occasional weekday cover
Start Time: 07:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a 7.5t (C1) vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks.
- Adhere to all relevant driving regulations and company policies.
- Accurately complete any required paperwork or delivery documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections.
Requirements
- Valid C1 licence (7.5t) with no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or IN codes).
- Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive work ethic.
- Previous experience driving 7.5t vehicles is preferred.
