Pertemps, in partnership with Royal Mail, the UK's trusted Universal Postal Service Provider, is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for weekend agency work at the Swindon Distribution Centre.
This is agency work, offering temporary ongoing weekend assignments with regular, year-round opportunities - perfect for drivers who want flexibility, premium weekend rates, and guaranteed hours.

The Role

• Trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots nationwide
• No multi-drop work
• Minimal manual handling
• Clean, well-maintained vehicles
• Shifts confirmed in advance

What we're looking for:

• Valid HGV 1 licence held for a minimum of 2 years with 6 months proven commercial driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards are essential for insurance purposes
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor endorsements (No DD/DR/IN/CD or TT endorsements)
• Availability to work weekends
• Excellent geographical knowledge and professional attitude
• Strong understanding of WTD and driver hours
• Confident completing manual tachograph entries
• Ability to pass a DBS security check
• Successful completion of site assessment and induction before first shift
