HGV Class 1 Drivers

Pertemps are currently hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team based in Hatfield.
What you will be doing -
- Maintaining excellent health and safety practices.
- This role is a mix of store deliveries in central London, Trunking to depots.
- Manual handling is required for this role.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
What you will need -
- You will Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card with a minimum of 6 months driving experience.
- Maximum of 6 points.
- Complete a driver assessment and two-day induction.
What you can expect -
- Pay Rate: £20.66p/h - OT: £27.89 (paid after 46.25 worked)
- Hours: 46.25 hours per week with various start times.
- Shift patterns: Monday - Friday /Thursday - Monday / Friday - Tuesday
- Free parking and canteen on site
