Role Overview:As a Parcel Delivery Driver, your day begins at the local delivery office, where you will sort and gather the mail for your designated route. The role involves both van deliveries and postal routes on foot. Using a hand-held computer device, you’ll navigate your route and track deliveries, ensuring parcels and mail are delivered efficiently to your community.
Shift Details:
- Brinklow Delivery Office: Monday to Saturday
- Shift Times: 07:00 - 15:00 / 13:00 - 20:00
- Shift Length: 6-8 hours per day
About You:We’re looking for candidates who are:
- Upbeat and Self-Motivated: Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-Focused: Approachable with a strong sense of community, getting to know the people on your route.
- Physically Fit: Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions, and prepared for the physical demands of walking and delivering.
- Professional: Smartly presented and courteous in all interactions.
- Flexible: Able to commit to Monday-Saturday work and adapt to varying hours.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery driving and customer service is essential.
- Background Check: A full DBS security check will be required before starting.
- Driving Licence: A full UK manual driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points. (We cannot accept IN/DD/DR/CD endorsements.)
