HGV1 NIGHT SHUNTING DRIVER
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable HGV1 Night Shunter Driver for our client.
Role Overview:
As an HGV1 Night Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock between two locations approximately 30 miles apart.
This role is crucial to ensuring operations run smoothly during the night, moving stock in readiness for the next day's production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely shunting HGV1 vehicles between different locations.
- Ensuring trailers are securely coupled and uncoupled.
- Conducting pre-shift vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV1 (Class 1) License.
- A Valid CPC and Digi Card.
- A minimum of two years experience.
- Ability to work night shifts and demonstrate flexibility with working hours.
- Strong understanding of yard operations and safety procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the job.
