LGV HGV CLASS 2 CAT C TRUCK DRIVING

Pertemps are looking for Class 2 drivers to join our Slough based client.
£14.00 - £22.00 Per Hour working Monday - Sunday
Duties include:
o Offloading and reloading of vehicles at depot and customers' premises as required
o Assist with warehouse personnel to ensure delivery runs are complete before loading
o Show flexibility as you may be required to undertake deliveries in other areas within our distribution zone
o Carry out daily visual maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image
o Abide by statutory and legal requirements with relation to drivers hours and tachograph regulations
o Present tachograph for analysis as requested by depot management or statutory inspectors
o Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner
o Be prepared to vary start times and shift patterns as required by the needs of the business
Qualifications / Experience required.
o Previous multi-drop delivery operations practical experience
o Articulate, numerate and able to communicate effectively
o Possession of appropriate and current licenses with no more than 6 penalty points
o Good state of health and the physical ability to complete operational tasks
o Smart and personally well presented.
o Must have held a Class 2 (C) licence and full UK drivers licence for a minimum of 2 years
o DBS check required
